...you go to the Boeing Store in St. Louis and buy a hat with a North American Aviation logo on it. It does say Boeing on the back.
Before the Boeing Store, we went to the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! at Boeing’s St. Louis headquarters. It’s a one-room museum that chronicles the history of Boeing, Douglas and McDonnell. Tons of models and some really great old photos. It’s only open to the public three months out of the year, but it’s free.

There was a guy who used to post here (“Darkest of all Codes” or some such) that had the NAA logo as his user pic. It’s been a while, though.

It’s not a Boeing store if you can’t buy a plane there!

They had all those beautiful desk top models, but they were stupid expensive.

That museum was very evenly divided between Boeing, McDonnell and Douglas.

I’m glad you made it. I’ll be working nights next week so I may stop by with the family.
Bigfoot HQ used to be right down the street, but moved a few years ago 20 miles or so southwest down I-44 in Fenton area.

Never forgave North American for the Valkyrie, huh?

I didn’t know Boeing had a store that non-employees could shop at. I went to one on a friends-and-family day and they still gave me the side-eye.

Yup. It’s on the corner of McDonnell Blvd and Lindbergh. Everything is 30% off right now. I could have spent a lot of money there but limited myself to a hat.

They had a desktop model of the Val that I would have bought. But it was $$$. I’m going to Wright Pat tomorrow to see it in person. Can’t wait!

It was nice. Not terribly big. There was a tour when we were there, but I doubt it gets much traffics. Fantastic models of all sizes. I think it’s only open through August. Thanks again for the tip!
